The Church is a Whore

She’ll too often open her legs for whoever she imagines can give her what she’s looking for. She comes by this honestly, she’s the daughter of Old Testament Israel.

Then there’s the madman who wants to call her Dulcinea. Everyone in the world “sees her for what she really is”, except him.

Approaching the Insanity from the Right Direction

We all certainly would like Aldonza to clean up her act. We’ve all got tips, pointers, and a regime of discipline and therapy that we imagine will make her a proper lady. Perhaps we can reconstruct her reputation if we move her to a new town.

Jesus is a determined lover of prostitutes. This is a matter of canonical record. Why should his love for the church be any different?
