Alan Jacob’s Narnia’s Past and Future

Just finished listening to this one. Lovely lecture. Jacobs is the author of the book “The Narnian”  which I thoroughly enjoyed. Amid so much Lewis material that has become hagiography The Narnian doesn’t shrink from revealing the suggestive evidence of some of Lewis’ reality, his relationship with Mrs. Moore and the subject of his sexual life. You cannot understand the shape of the gospel without also understanding our condition.

He concludes this delightful lecture by reading the story of Kenneth Tynan from the Afterward from his book. This reading alone is worth the lecture.
