   As the father-in-law of a daughter in med-school at Columbia in NYC, I’m not surprised to read this. It is, indeed, a very stressful ride. What is most disturbing, however, is that the doctors seem resistant to getting help because they perceive the need for help as a weakness–and that these same doctors are nevertheless going to be front-line gatekeepers to the broader mental health system.
