NYTimes: The Good, Racist People

The Good, Racist People https://nyti.ms/VHRiGy

If white people don’t like feeling the charge  of guilt by assocition they should lean into this experience to understand just a bit about what it is like to be black in America.

It isn’t just blackness of course, it may be Hispanic, or dressing a certain way, or being a certain person oppoosite a social conflict with another group.

The problem at heart is the self-righteousness and the presumption of righteousness for your ingroup. “He won’t molest that girl he’s a Christian…”

Calvinism’s observation on human nature continues to persuade.
