Henry Zwaanstra, my CTS Church History prof once offered we lads and lasses some helpful advice. He recommended that we, as a form of ongoing education in the ministry dedicate ourselves to learning intensively from one of four theologians: Augustine, Calvin, Jonathan Edwards and CS Lewis (who really isn’t a theologian). I’ve read some of all of them naturally but lately I’ve been mostly in Augustine and Lewis.
I continue to play around with doing short videos. Here is a series on CS Lewis’ book Miracles.
I return to the book regularly as I find it enormously helpful in trying to sort out narratives that are in conflict today.
