I received my theology degree 40 yrs ago this April. Conservative training.
One doctrine has always bothered me. The idea that we are born guilty and tainted (original sin), that God will therefore punish us for acting out of that tainted condition.

There must be a fundermental reason this won’t work, I’m sure.
