   Paul,

   I wonder if it is time to revisit a designation that had had some popularity a few years back, that of “covenant marriage”. This is a distinct designation in some state statutes in which the participants agreed to take part in marital counseling and which made it more difficult to get a divorce in the event of marital conflict…its a term associated with traditional religious understandings of marriage and perhaps an analogue to the “cleaving” term used in the video.
