   I don’t know if you remember but back in the late 80’s these same televangelists were doing exactly the same thing and were exposed. Some, like Tilton and the Bakkers took a hit but bounced back to very affectively fleecing their TV flock. This isn’t new information at all. It is the very heart and soul of the “Health, Wealth and Prosperity” movement’s teaching. It has been around for forty plus years starting with Oral Roberts. It is the all American gospel of greed and wealth. Suffering and struggle are signs of sin not to be rejoiced in as Paul wrote in Romans 5. It appeals more to the flesh than the spirit all the while intentionally confusing the two. The sad thing is that it is a very appealing teaching. It promises the world and all it has to offer and sanctifies greediness and selfishness. It is the perfect example of a false gospel in every way.
