I attended Nick’s talk… and the author fails to mention that Nick went out of his way to point out that he is not a figure of authority on this. It was never about what he said… it was that he said it. That was the meaningfulness of his talk. That someone like Nick, one of us, “came out” and admitted that his mind was changed. We like to tell ourselves that believe things because of a simple weighing of the facts… if we are really honest, it’s a lot more complicated.
