So Paul, according to the criteria that the CRC set up at the last Synod, would this be something that could be considered as being adopted as a contemporary testimony?
I suppose it could.

I guess my point is somewhat secondary, and not so much to do with the content of this specific declaration. With the creation of this second category of contemporary testimony, I can see it becoming a battlefield of sorts between traditions within the CRC as to which declaration/ confession “gets in” to define who we are, each speaking to a particular issue.
