   I think Petersen is making a big mistake here. It’s one thing to say what he thinks on his own considerable platform, it’s anothee to virtually declare war on his opponents. It will undermine his credibility and make him vulnerable to liberal media ridicule. How would you react to that kind of trolling by those opposed to your message? Plus, while it may not be so, strictly speaking, it smacks of an attack on free speech and academic freedom. He’s handing over the weapons of his powerful ideas to his “enemies.”

     It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Peterson has been pretty reactive to this kind of pushback. He’s clearly not the kind of guy to shy away from a fight. Heterodox Academy has been doing something like this for a while now. https://heterodoxacademy.org/resources/guide-to-colleges/ . I wonder if the pushback isn’t because he’s local, or Canadian, or simply because he’s grown so quickly in terms of popularity that this establishment actually fears him. Heterodox Academy and Jonathan Haidt seem to be less “in your face” and less personal. I know Peterson just met with Haidt recently so I’m expecting a youtube conversation between the two quite shortly. We might also get something like this. https://youtu.be/HxfFxhERMYY .
