Ken is the most talented improviser I know anything of. True genius.
My second and third daughters were baptized together. We were at Central United Protestant Church in Richland, Washington. Ken was there that weekend. (We’d sung, “Moses,” with him in his concert. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRBjtnp4208 It had originated spontaneously in its turn.) Ken was at the piano during the service. At the appropriate point in the baptism, Ken spontaneously played a song to our girls that still brings tears to my eyes in recalling, even though I can only recall the opening phrase. An eternal moment.
